Meet the Team

Hi everyone, Michael here. 

Zero Waste Medals was created after unprecedented demand was made on the sporting industry for more locally sourced and eco friendly medals.

Founders Andrew, Neil and I, already had an interest in sport and have a sports goods and clothing site already but there was a distinct gap in the industry for rewarding athletes with something more sustainable and thus Zero Waste Medals was born.

After 1 year of success it was time to take on our first member of staff Jon. Jon heads up all the designs for all the amazing medals that you can see being created on a daily basis.

Not long after due to demand we needed some efficient hands on the team so hired Jess, a young apprentice who has since become an integral part of the business. She brings hard work and a keen eye for quality to the team.

In 2021 we have hired Matt, a previously experienced laser technician who brings a wealth of experience and data driven processes to the team. Using his skillset we have been able to increase capacity of the business and turn around even more fantastic medals in a better timeframe
